It seems that recent builds of Chromium after February don't work properly when installed to the hard drive. No luck running as dell but once I hooked it up to ethernet was able to log in with my google account and then bring up the shell to run the install. Wireless is now working but brightness and sound controls not functional, neither is sound at all. Not going to install it to HD as it's not functional enough to make it worth wiping my HD.
